General Worker at IJ Village

Job Responsibilities :

1. Able to work independently and reliably and handle the following tasks effectively:

• Levels1- 3: Offices, meeting room, all activity rooms, classrooms, café, dining area, TV area, reading lounge, pantries, mullti-purpose hall, lift, common toilets, courtyard and open space
  1. Daily sweeping and mopping of floor in all above-mentioned areas
  2. Cleaning of all public toilets twice a day
  3. Daily wiping of glass panels (man’s height)
  4. Daily cleaning of tables and chairs in dining area and cafe
  5. Daily sweeping of staircases
  6. Mopping of staircases to be done once in 2 days
  7. Daily clearing of rubbishbins
  8. Daily cleaning of 3 pantry areas
  9. Daily sweeping and cleaning of lift
  10. Monthly cleaning of wall and ceiling fans in halls, corridors, activity rooms, dining areas and toilets

• Level 1: Car park, garden& music hall

(i) Daily sweeping and clearing of leaves/dirt in car park

1. Daily sweeping and mopping of Music Hall, storage and holding rooms
2. Daily watering and basic maintenance of plants in the garden
3. Ad-hoc trimming of grass in the garden

• Level 2 & 3:Residential Rooms
  1. Daily sweepingand mopping of floor (only common corridor areas)
  2. Daily sweeping of staircases
  3. Mopping of staircases done once in 2 days

                2. Working days and time : Mondays – Saturdays from 9.30 am to 6.30 pm with 1 hour lunch break

3. Job Requirements

                     Abled-bodied person capable of working independently and responsibly

                    Able to take initiative to ensure premises is kept clean at all times

                    Must have at least 2 years of relevant working experience

This full-time position is only available to Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents.
